Hello everyone!

I have a question about the 2.2 update. I bought a used phone and it's been flashed over (that's the extent of my knowledge) and I'm hooked up with Revol as my provider. It's obvious I won't be getting an OTA update, so how do I get 2.2 on my Incredible?

In my reading on how to root the Dinc, I saw that it was advised to uninstall htc sync and PDA.net. Is this software that's on your PC? I didn't get any of the CDs with my used phone so I don't have sync on my pc. So I suppose I shouldn't even download it at all then?
