You know what would be a good move on Googles side?

Hiring Pete, the developer of the Bugless (B) ROMs... think about it... this could be a huge advantage for them. Native theme switches, etc... and its an extra creative brain.

Yeah that would be a good idea actually......and the Sholes team too...

But see it even took a lot of minds to put together Pete's awesome ROM, including some of the Sholes team, AdamZ (the guy that created the Smoked Glass with White Clock ROM), and a bunch of other important developers.....so it'd be better to just hire all of 'em!! lol

I don't want to see them hired for one simple reason.... updates! Look how many Pete and the Sholes team have kicked out to us in a short time. Google only has given us 1. They go on a payroll and we're stuck waiting for 'official releases'

Well, with them being hired, a long with their creativity being hired, they would also integrate their update support.

Heres I think it could work. They would have their own branch for themes. Google would develop a official site for them, that is of course through Google. And instead of us waiting for the official OS overhauls, we can have updates for the themes.

Google will of course monitor the updates. But I would love to see how it works!

I've been telling the MPAA and the RIAA for years now, don't smite the pirates, work with them, bring them in, brainstorm on new ways to start making more money in the industries, while also having free outlets.

lol I think it's an interesting idea (to hire the devs) I mean if they can get our phones running faster than Google can, I think that speaks for it self.

I thought the whole reason for "pirating" was to get stuff for you know...free? You wouldn't be a pirate if you all of a sudden started charging for downloads, and I don't think people would all of a sudden start paying for it either. Just a thought
