True! The 80s was the best decade ever. Though it's a love/hate type relationship for those who know.
Music yes...(Monsters of Rock FTW! )... Fashion, not so much! Things you could get away with back then, you'd likely be laughed at today. Men with mullets/perms/rat tails & feathered hair. Women wore big@ss shoulder pads in their jackets & blouses. The 80s gave birth to stretch pants (aka yoga pants....One of man's greatest inventions!) mini skirts, leg warmers and huge hoop earrings. Parachute pants, stone/acid washed jeans & plaid shorts with pastel polo shirts. Let's not forget the suit jacket & blue jeans look. (with a Swatch watch) And of course neon shirts were everywhere. We promoted safety back then....or stupidity, its hard to say. [emoji15]
