Yes/no/maybe I had one on the S5 but pulled it because it didn't do well with my rough skin, scratched all over, and the crack came from the edge where the protection from a glass screen cover would not have helped...

I'm thinking it would only have been protected if in an OtterBox type, the glass on the S5 is Gorilla Glass 2.5, the one that flunked the test.
