I began using Yahoo Mail very recently and preferred it over the stock email app.
Just before I left on vacation, I turned off my PC. About 12 hours later (3:40 AM), my yahoo email account began sending out bogus emails to everyone on my contact list. Some of the emails were blank and some said that I recommend a specific "male enhancement" product. These bogus emails went out on two consecutive mornings. I think I stop the problem by deleting the Yahoo Mail app and changing my password. There have been more bogus email since then.
I would hate for this to happen again. I am trying to figure out if I should avoid the Yahoo Mail App or this could have happened with any email app or PC application.
Anyone else have this problem?
How do I prevent it happening in the future.
