Yahoo Mail how to set it for fetch instead of Push?

I have only yahoo mail as my default account and it will not let me set it to fetch instead of push.
The push little green box is checked and will not let me uncheck it. I went below and checked the box for manually fetching it. then went back and tried to un check it still no luck. What do I need to do?

No questions are stupid ones. No responses are probably because nobody has come across the correct answer to your question. I don't have the answer and have wondered the same thing about push/pull when it comes to email. I am sure somebody will have an answer for you as there are smart people on this forum. Wish I could help, but not this time.

I aslo have the same problem, but mine actually says that my yahoo account only supports data push... I know that on my X I was able to change this. I thought that yahoo just changed something recently.

Same problem here, had to get a new phone and now I can't get my mail.
