Xbox does not pick up X

new to rooting and all that goes with it. Along story short I rooted my phone to get wifi hotspot and many other goodys. The wifi teathering works great. Phones can pick up the wifi but for some reason my xbox will not. Why is that?

So if anybody could help that would be great thanks.

I have the new xbox so that is all built in. So no having to check that. It just up and started working so all is good.

Works great played some ACBH online did just fine. Thanks for the replys
