X Magnetic dock mode issue

I've been having an issue with my X activating the dock modes when placed into a belt clip. I know that there is a magnet inside the phone and mounts that tells the phone to switch into the dock modes. I was wondering if there was a way to pick when the phone switches into those modes without removing them seeing as I use the car and multimeda mounts often. It seems that when the phone switches it uses battery more and I already have horrible battery life as it is.

Easiest way to keep the phone from switching while in your case is to "flip" the phone screen side out...that way the magnetic clicp is toward the screen and not the rear of the case...but most people dont like that...

There are a couple of apps on the market that I believe will allow you to disable Dock Mode and Car Mode...just have to search them out...
