Worse call quality on Droid than previous phone?

Hi guys,

I had a BB curve before I got the Droid, and now when I'm in certain spots of my house I don't have the reception that I did before.

Someone suggested it could be a difference in the internal antenna....

Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

I'm just dealing with it for now until they get a better signal in my area but I have noticed this. I had a BB Storm prior to my droid and I got a far better signal before. There are times that I cant make a call for 20-30 minutes.

signal strength is the same between my old bb storm2 and the droid. where i got good signal strength with the s2 i get good signal strength with the droid. where i got bad signal strength with the s2 i get bad signal strength with the droid. doesn't seem to be phone specific, but rather network specific.

maybe you should try updating your roaming capabilities via *228 and selecting the appropriate option.

sound quality on the receiving end seems to be the same between both old and new phone as well.
