Won't call from contacts

Can anyone tell me why I can't call out from my contacts? It starts the call the hangs up immediately. I have to actually dial the number to call someone

Is this from the contact app or from the dialer/contact tab? Do both do the same thing?

Both. But i can call out from my call log list...

Try unlinking the contacts. Worked for me.
