WMA file only plays in fast forward

I downloaded PowerAmp to play WMA and these only play in fast forward mode. How do I fix this?

I just tried PowerAmp and Astro media player and neither will even attempt to play the wma files on my phone.

I used the default music player for a while, but a few weeks ago switched to MixZing which I love. I've never had issues playing WMA files on Froyo or Gingerbread. I'm not on CyanogenMod7 though (if that matters).
