Hello I downloaded the app Wireless tethering for rooted users. I have a droid ally and I get a kernal error. I was wondering if there was a kernal speciffically for the ally. I have looked but have been unsuccesfull in finding one.
My guess is (since their low number of posts) that they are relatively new. I could be wrong. First thing is....do you have root? Do you have the "superuser" icon in your app drawer?
Yes I have root and I have the su app as well with wireless tether, set cpu, rom manager etc. But I think I have the wrong kernal, but I don't know how to correct that.
I am new aswell but my phone is rooted, I have set cpu(which also required a diffren't kernal to be overclocked), rom manager, barnacle wireless. One of the guys i work with said he rooted an ally for a friend and he couldn't get this app to work either.
