Will Wireless Tether app change my bill?

I have a rooted Droid X, and am using the Wireless Tether app. Will this effect my bill at all? I assume no since I have legally signed no contracts through verizon, however I figured I'd ask because I'd hate to receive a 400 dollar bill for per MB usage or what not. Thanks!
