Will there be more sites selling motorola droids cheap?

Hi, this might be a stupid question, but it's mostly opinion, so I'm going to ask.
I wanted to get a droid for christmas, but I got in trouble at a bad time so it's probably not going to happen now. So, my dad won't renew our contract, we will just pay month to month.
Here's the question. Around January or February will there be more sites selling cheaper droids? Right now they're really aren't any shoppig sites that havethem under $500, and eBay are all expensive, but by February will they get cheaper??

(ps does anyone know a site that has them cheap-ish?)

I dont have a crystal ball, but pretty safe bet that tech items continue to go down in price after their release.

Yeah, i hope they do go down in price on verizonwireless site.. if it drops down to $100 bucks then i'll buy it but for now i gotta stay with a crappy phone.
