Will the S4 work with other brand USB chargers?

May be grabbing an S4 in the near future and have seen some used ones for sale that only have he phone, no accessories. My HTC Rezound can use the charger from my Motorola flip phone, but the flip phone cannot use the Rezound charger. I'm hoping that the S4 can use either charger and that I won't have to buy a charger separate.

so just wondering if anyone uses a generic charger or a charger from another phone on their S4?

Yes, you can use other chargers... BUT it may not charge as fast as the stock charger. You can find the stock chargers for under $10 on Amazon, Newegg, or ebay. I've bought 2 pairs of OEM stock chargers so I can leave chargers at different places that I visit a lot.

I use 3 different chargers on mine depending on where I am and all work fine.

Cable thickness also has a lot to do with the ability to charge
