Will Google Navigation work in Canada

I'm leaving for Edmonton on Monday and I am wondering if my Google Navigation on my Droid will work?

It will work anywhere in the world that you can get data stream. That can get exspensive outside of the USA though.

This is NOT true. Google Navigation WILL NOT work in Canada, period.
