will gingerbread work on droid 2global global?

Verizon is going to be sending me a droid 2 global friday. And I currently run the gingerbread leak on my droid 2. Can I still use this when I get my droid 2 global?

unfortunately no:/ i really want them to come out with one cause my friend got his on the dx and it is insane...hopefully they'll make one. never know. i almost bricked phone when trying to do a d2 version so dont do it
