Will gingerbread allow a root?

With gingerbread being released for the x2 soon will this phone be impossible to root? I don't think I like the thought of not being able to over clock and stare at ads all day

I'm sure the dev's will eventually find a way to root Gingerbread. After the X and X2 get it I'm sure P3Droid will be working on it, along with the Gingerbreak crew. Nothing is impossible, it'll just take a little time.

As far as I know, they've rooted all of the GB releases so far, I'm not worried.
