Will contacts be deleted if I remove facebook?

I set up my facebook account with my phone and all of the contacts imported, now I have duplicate contacts for some. If I remove the existing contacts and leave the ones imported from facebook will they be deleted if I remove the facebook account in the future? Thanks.

Yes if you remove the FB account the FB contacts go away change the name of the Google or phone contacts to match the FB contacts your phone should link contacts automaticly or manually link each one
