Will 2.3.15 flash over 2.3.151?

I"M NOT POSTING LINKS. JUST HAVE QUESTIONS.

I have a X with 2.3.151 can I flash 2.3.15 then update to the OTA official (2.3.340)? I know you can't go DOWN in FW only up or current. So will this brick my phone?

Also is there a SBF for the NEW OTA yet?

There's an sbf for 2.2.1 that's what im on

I flashed SUCCESSFULLY to 2.3.15 FROM 2.3.151. I also did NOT have to reset my phone to stock. All it did was wipe the phone programming.

I DID loose root and the bloatware apps were reinstalled. So for those fearing to loose settings and revert to stock. All apps still installed and settings maintained. This is a way.
