Wifi Tethering

Has anyone been charged by VZW for using wifi tether? I'm putting this question here because Kangerade 1.1 Froyo is the ROM I am currently using. Internet searches do not give me answers that are either definitive or recent (I know, I'm a bit behind in the tether game...)

I tether things quite frequently and I have yet to be charged. In all honesty with the fact that you are not on the OTA release I would find it hard to believe that Verizon can tell that you are tethering anything at this time.

Especially using Wi-Fi as the only tethering I see within the OS is the USB Mode, Wi-Fi I use a seperate app for.
