WIFI Tether Speeds?

Im getting around 6 megs on wifi tether? I get around 18 megs on my phone via FCC. Anyone else get slow speeds via wifi tether?

If you're tethering via ad-hoc mode vs infrastructure mode you will see a noticeable difference in speed.

Sort of. If you're on GB, then you need the wifi tether patch. If you're on ICS, you need to choose the proper settings.
