Wifi teather with no root?

I was looking at my wireless network settings for my non rooted GB D2G and saw a built in wifi/usb teather option and was wondering if I can use that as my wifi teather option without paying for the service, like using barnacle or something like that...

nah i tryed that u still have to pay for servce but if u rooted u can get bye it :bump:
