widgets and app noob question.

whats the difference between widgets and apps? and what is a widget? thanks in advance.

Apps are programs (applications) that you run on the Droid by selecting an icon on the home screen or from the app drawer.

Widgets are apps that have an interactive icon that updates itself...Facebook, Weatherbug are just two examples of apps that have Widgets.

Not all app have Widgets.
