Wi-Fi and 3G

If I am connected to a wi-fi service, will the droid automaticly use the stronger signal between the wi-fi and 3g? Or will it continue to use the wi-fi no matter how bad the signal gets?

When the Droid feels the wifi signal is week it will switch over to 3G. It happens to me all the time and I don't understand why, I have a good signal.

Mine seems to stay on wifi as long as possible but will fall back to 3g at some point. I do not know what the threshold is, but the wifi signal has to be very weak before it will switch to 3g. So I think it does not use whichever is strongest, it just uses wifi whenever possible.
