Why I want new phones with Motoblur

I REALLY like the way Motoblur handles contacts and that I can see my history with a certain person when i pull up their info. I also really like being able to see their Facebook status updates when they call me.

Stock is really nice and all phones SHOULD have an option to go to stock but I hope that Motorola keeps working on their Motoblur. Their launcher and widgets are still poor so I use LauncherPro but other than that I like some of the other features they added.

You can switch to "battery saver mode" I actually think the battery life is better than my D1

No, I need a constant connection for Google Voice. The D2 doesn't touch the battery life of a D1, unless you never use it.

If you freeze the pre-installed Skype app and downclock the phone to 600mhz screen off then its better battery than an overlocked D1

Also if they came up with a much better ui.

I must say HTC spent a lot of time designing their UI and it shows.
