who uses the micro hdmi cable and does yours cut out??

I just got mine and hooked it up to the tv but it will cut out sometimes if i hit it a certain way. Im not sure if it is the connections where it plugs in to or if it is the cable itself. But the cable is brand new. Anyone else have this problem?

same here.. my cable isn't that new, but not that old or mistreated. it started cutting out like a month ago. since you say your cable is new then it might be the hdmi port on the phone :/

I had that problem with my first HDMI cable and just assumed it was the port. Then I bought a longer cable of a different brand (for unrelated reasons) and to my surprise it completely fixed the problem. I don't think it was the added length that fixed it -- I think it's the slightly different plug that fits more snugly. Here's the cable I bought from Amazon, it's $2.66 for a 10-foot micro-HDMI to HDMI cable. It doesn't seem to have a brand name so I'm not sure how to tell the good ones from the bad ones, but this particular cable works great with my Bionic and never cuts out. On the other hand, I see that someone posted a review claiming that it cuts out for them, so who knows ... maybe it varies from phone to phone as well.
