It is the official build. You just have to manually install it.

Not I. I am actually quite sane here, at least in regards to GB. Rooted and rommed .596 is lovely.

CM7 Beta IS here: [ROM][BETA] CyanogenMod 7 for the Droid X
I am very tempted to install it, but I finally got my rooted .596 running exactly how I want so am waiting a couple of weeks before trying CM7
