Which phones can you root?

I want to order a phone (VERIZON) but I need to make sure I can root to have wireless tether (no internet where I live, just dial-up)

I'm not sure which phones you can use the "super one click" on...

Any suggestions?

I need to give my son his Droid X back before he has heart attack :icon_eek: So getting another phone is a must.

I think a better question is what phone can't you root? It's way to long of a list to post what phones can be rooted...

Any phone out there now that CANT be rooted?

I'm pretty sure they can all be rooted. Don't qoute me on this though.

I'm pretty sure almost all the android phones on Verizon right now all have root.

Even if you do get a new one, just wait maybe 2-3 weeks, root should be figured out by then. The longest device it took to root in recent memory, the D3 I think. My friend kept bugging me about root for it, but I never found any until about 3 or 4 weeks after the D3 came out
