Wow ty guys i wasnt expecting all these annswers. I tried go sms and liked it but it started getting buggy and started to freeze and lagg on my phone. And also one of my grievances with both the default and go SMS is that when I try going up to look at previous messages in a Conversation, I would automatically be pulled down to the bottom. Whats the diff between handscent and chompsms?

Never used chomp because I've never had a reason to switch from Handcent.

chomp is pretty similar to handcent. my gf uses it on her g1 even though i switch it back to handcent when shes sleeping. i just find handcent a little more stable and customizable. plus the dev is pretty good about updates.

I had handcent for the longest time, then tried go sms. Both were unbearably slow and laggy on my phone, so I'm back to the stock app. I don't like it, but at least it works when I need it to.
