On the S3 and S4 the Volume button controlled zoom in and out. I have had reports when pressing the Vol button the S5 takes a picture. Can anyone confirm the Zoom process?
My Verizon S5 arrived yesterday and I'm still getting to know it. I can confirm that the volume button DOES take the picture. To zoom, I have to use a two finger spread on the display like when zooming on a map or something. I've been looking but I haven't found a switch yet that will allow me to change this setup.

On the S4 setting the function of the volume rocker is in settings of the camera app. I can switch it back and forth from taking a pic to zoom. I would "guess" the S5 would be the same way.
Basically works the same as the S4, I didn't realize the volume also worked, I'll give it a try.
Edit: excellent, both ways work on the 4, I'll bet there's a setting on the 5 to use the volume rocker as well.
Thanks guys, I've used the screen zoom since my Galaxy Nexus... But at least the power button worked to take the pix there, if only the pix quality was worth using the camera...
