OK...I think I am going nuts. Maybe it's something that changed in version 2.2. I used to have an option to reset the phone's cache or maybe it was back to factory conditions. Can't recall the name of the setting but it essentially cleared the cache and made you sign back into google to restore it.
I can't find it anywhere. I wanted to use the settings in the UI rather than SPRecovery.
