My girlfriend and I tried rooting our incredibles last night. I have super user ap, but not able to s off.

The real problem is her phone. It seems to have gone so far into a factory reset, that it needs to be activated like it would right out of the box. used the tutorial from enlightened.

Something definitely didn't go right. Are the phones running 2.2 or did you accept the OTA update over the past few weeks?

You're the first report I've heard of this happening to. On the one that doesn't have s-off, run unrevoked forever (though that shouldn't be necessary because unrevoked 3 has everything baked in). SD card might have gone bad on the other- try switching them and see what happens.
