when is my phone too hot?

if i'm playing a game i notice my phone gets pretty warm. is this normal? can it damage the phone if it stays that way too long?

get an app that monitors the battery temp such as Gsam Battery monitor. Usually if the phone is about 120F it's too hot and should be left to rest to cooler temp.

Like any piece of hardware if it stays too hot for too long then there can be some damage, but you have to be using your phone ALOT to get to that temp and be there for quite some time.
