WhatsApp - Not able to retrieve contacts

Hi guys,

Just a question about WhatsApp, I just installed the newest version and it seems that I am unable to sync any contacts from Google contacts to WhatsApp.

I tried adding my contact manually and WhatsApp picks it up, just not all my other contacts that have been synced into my phone from Google contacts / Facebook contacts.

I'm currently using the RAZR Android.

Any suggestions??

Backup assistant. Mandatory if you ask me :/ no experience with WhatsApp though sorry man.
