Do you have any icons in the upper left corner? If so, slide down the bar and see what they are. Get rid of all those and the light will stop.

That stopped it.
Are there different colors? What do they mean?

there are differen colors, from missed calls to txts to IMs..

it sometimes also dependent on the app.. for example, i am using meebo for IM and it shows purple everytime i get a message...

Anyone figure out how to get white yet? I haven't seen it, and Missed Call allows white, but it comes out as teal.

is there any way to get the indicator light to flash when you have new email? the bbbery does it and i find it really key. i don't even care what color it flashes but i dont' want to have to pick up and start my phone every few minutes to see if email came in. help!
