Does this phone really cost nothing if u have a contract with Verizon already?

Free phone with 2 year renewal of contract. You have to be eligible for renewal, that's your catch. Or a new customer.

Expect to see a slew of these 1GHz phones to be price dropped to make inventory room for the next wave. VZ does NOT wa.t to have a bunch of crappy Continuums in their warehouses or Incredibles with the Thunder Bolt getting boxed now.
