Whats going on with my phone? Is it updating?

In the right hand corner of my phone a list of items is shown...

com.android phone
com.zector
kworker/u.9
com.motorola.blur.home
surfacelinger
system_server
com.vzw.hss.myverizon

and the list goes on and on.

Is this a normal process?
