Speaking of jail .. a friend of mine, some years ago, got arrested for fighting. So he's in his cell fully aware there is a camera in there, decides to engrave his initials in the wall.. so they added vandalism to the charge. Was just one of those wth were you thinking times...

Been once or twice, no more for me. (total of 4 hours). short of bail the second dance by 20 bucks. Here you can't combine your money with their money to establish bail.

my personal property was in a manila envelop. they wouldn't release it unless all the bail money was presented by the person posting bail.

Yeah, one phone call to get somebody to show up with pocket change. Not. This was before they took debit cards or checks. All cash.
ahh they got me like 25 years ago during spring break by 2 hick severity guards for stepping over a 2 foot wall on our balcony to our joining rooms balcony and called it balcony climbing... cost me $250. Down in Daytona... but turned out the owner of the hotel went to college with my dad and fired the 2 hicks and gave me the money back.
