Actually I have one of those jobs where it really is acceptable to pick up strangers, even encouraged. They are generally bleeding, coughing, or having heart attacks, very seldom at the same time though thankfully.

I never get the "oh hey...you are so cute, let me pet you" drunks. It's ALWAYS, no matter what the "I'm gonna beat your a**" drunks. Even when you try to be nice. I guess those are the kinds that end up needing our help. The other kinds all just go home. We do sometimes get the "hey man... I'm gonna puke all over your...'barf', sorry dude.

I've never really thought that alcohol changes people, it just amplifies the underlying personality traits that people already possess. I don't drink, because I choose not to bring out the inner geek. Haha
