None taken. Many people do. I don't want a cat. This one wants us. Husband is away. He will murder me if he sees this! Think I am going to get her food and litter box for now, but put her out at night (if Rachel will let me.... otherwise, litter box goes in her bedroom.)
And yes, I know if I keep her as an indoor/outdoor cat, she will need to be immunized and spayed..... So NOT what I wanted!

I have a feral colony at work, one cat follows me around worse than a puppy dog. And two stays at home that adopted me. Allergic to pet dander big time.

Allergic as well. However, so far so good with this baby....She has a microchip, and PetSmart gave me the number. Going to try to trace it, but daughter wants to keep her....She has been "hanging around" outside here for over 2 months....

Update.....traced microchip to company that manufactured it, HomeAgain. I called them, and chip wasn't registered with them, but it might have been registered with the AKC, as they used to be the same company...
Called AKC... Chip was never registered. I asked who would bother chipping an animal, then not register it.... (?)
Response from them? "A lazy, irresponsible pet owner, who doesn't really care if pet is missing." I asked if it was safe to assume that this cat was not missing from a loving home, and if it was safe keep her. I don't want to have a heartbroken family looking for her, but I don't want to have a heartbroken daughter, either.... Attendant said not only is it safe to keep her, it would be great for the cat, and he wasn't even going to log the call, so I would not be contacted.
Cat has a home, daughter has a pet, I have Benadryl. How the hell l am I going to explain this to my husband???? I may end up divorced, but I will take the cat any day!
