I do believe it's normal, at least for some that accept expandable/external storage. My Asus Transformers had it. A small icon in the status bar at the bottom and a notification message.

Yup that what mine has too. Its annoying though. I want to get rid of it.

Regrets huh, should of got a nexus.
If I remember correctly, the Nexus does the same thing when external storage is connected. But since the Nexus doesn't have a microSD card slot, it won't constantly be there like on tablets that do have a microSD card slot.

Read your comment above again. The way it's written, it's saying that your tablet is good for everything except for the things you use it for. A missing comma can completely change the meaning.

Ha, ha. Not being the grammar police (I can't imagine even trying to do that in this thread...it would be the most frustrating thing ever
). I just think it's funny that a single missing comma makes it mean the exact opposite of what was intended.

As opposed to...
