what should i do with the original battery?

I purchased the Verizon extended battery for my bionic about a month ago. I love it. It makes the phone last all day +.

My question is: what should I do with the standard battery that came with the phone?

I've heard I should use it every now and again, but I don't really ever need it and I don't want to keep popping the back off the phone. Both the original and extended battery covers seem relatively fragile and I don't want to have a back that doesn't fit well.

Keep it as a spare; like road trips, etc. There is always Craigs List!

It is currently my spare, I guess. I just wonder whether it will hurt the original battery to sit around totally unused.
