The screen. It only occures when I put it down I dont have a special case on it so its just weird to me

There are multiple air gestures. The screenshot you showed is one called air glance. If the phone's on a flat surface on its back (and asleep... aka screen off), if you wave your hand within 3 inches of the screen at the top, you'll get your notification icons, current time and any missed calls/texts. There's actually other air gestures: [video=youtube;fDDe4CSuF-0]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDDe4CSuF-0[/video] has a Samsung rep showing them off at a trade show.

To take a screenshot by gesture your hand needs to make contact with the screen not just hover over it. I took like 20min trying to figure it out lol

AS for that screen, it's the quickpreview screen. Just swipe your hand over the gesture sensor and it'll show up.
