Ok I see that alot of people are using it. But I don't really understand why. I have yet to visit a forum that I could not navigate or post from using the browser. And what's worse is you have to use a paid version to actually post. Am I missing something???
i like it, installed it on my forum, now loads of other sites are too. i wanted the members to get a better mobile experience which is faster and easier.
Tapatalk is a good app, it makes it easier to navigate forums and post. And it's not just an app for one forum you have access to hundreds of forums all categorized in different sections. I just use droidforums mobile style but tapatalk is nice as an option for those who want it.
I like it and use it, obviously. My only gripe: how could they make this kind of app without a search function?! That is a big downside to an otherwise convenient app.
I just jumped on the tapatalk bandwagon. I like it - it's quick, clean, and easy but more to the point I can see that it has a lot of potential. If you go to taptalk.com community, there's a forum section for features request. It looks like they're going to be working on it alot so I'm hopeful it gets much more features.
Features I'd like to see:
Search
Subscribe to Thread
Go to last read post/first new post in thread
Change Font size
Auto-Punctuation
Quick and fast to post. And the more you post the more you see under your favorites sections allowing you to keep track of them. Some features are left to be desired but its work in progress.
the droid app, per the forum, is supposed to be released this weekend with search function. phpbb files were released also do it looks like the forum parts are there now.
