what happened to all the good tv shows

More specifically the ones that actually had a moral to them i was watching cartoons with my nephew the other day and they have resorted to teaching kids that lying and stealing are ok and cursing too what happened?

Well Family Guy and the Simpsons aren't exactly kids cartoons

I am still a fan of cartoons, but today's cartoons and "shows for kids" are garbage. It's all about "comedy" and there really is no real good storyline to any cartoons or shows out there (Legend of Korra is an exception, it's an excellent cartoon). Then again as kids I didn't watch cartoons for morals, but shows like Hey Arnold do pop into mind and there are alot of life lessons in there really. Shows had deeper hidden meanings back then, now it's all about "dumb comedy".

Well i remember like the original tmnt cartoon where they would do some little thing like say no to drugs and dont talk to strangers and so on i mean transformers and power rangers and other kid shows in the late 80s and early nineties mostly had a moral to them or a little special message at the end of the show whatever happened to that?

"stupid comedy" has taken over hollywood. TV shows have suffered and kids shows are pretty weak. There has only been one new cartoon that I found worth while and thoroughly enjoy, Legend of Korra. Cartoons like Regular Show are pretty dumb to me. Was watching Disney Channel with my nephew and nieces, some of the shows have little lessons in them still at least. Not going to deny I enjoy an episode of Phineas and Ferb every once in awhile

And the messages at the end of shows doesn't exist anymore. Maybe if there's some national tragedy or awareness thing going on there may be a message, but it's very rare nowadays.

Those were my absolute favorites growing up too!! :-D They don't even come close to making them like that anymore!
Those were all done by hand! Now there done on computers and make them really pisspoor?
You would think they would have gotton better??? Wha Hap'n???
