Wow, I don't know what's more socking... someone that doesn't know what The Pirate bay is/was, or someone who used The Pirate Bay but hasn't heard about the how and why is was shutdown... like at least 6 months ago.
They lost a court case and the fees from the decision on top of their legal fees forced them to sell it to another company, but that company didn't do too well with it, so it finally closed down. At least, that's the abridged version. Google for the full details.

The Pirate Bay is a bit torrent site. We do not discuss bit torrents in the Droid Forum.
Now I know The Pirate Bay is no longer what it was, matter of fact I don't know if it still exist but I'm closing the thread for precautionary reasons. We don't want to get into discussing other possible alternatives.
