What do you mean blur when you are talking about roms and themes? is it a style, or type...help please

Motorola Blur is the additions motorola adds to the stock android operating system on some phones like the X. It's a bloated version of vanilla (stock) android OS.

Blur refers to motoblur, the style of apps and operating system Motorola puts on their equipment, if I'm not mistaken.
