We want to unite "smartphone fans", ie all people for whom the smartphone is not just a dialer, but a powerful and useful gadget.

We would be grateful for all opinions from "experts" and "dummies".

The point is very simple - please, share: what you like and dislike in modern smartphones?

What features do you use and which of them seems to be redundant?

What functionality works well, and what still leaves much to be desired, etc. and so on?

- Nice, large display with hi res
- Design

What I like:
- Big beautiful screen
- Design
- Slim factor
- Minimal design

What I dislike:
- Too big of a screen (my Nexus is perfect size, anything bigger is uncomfortable)
- Battery tech hasn't improved much

It still amazes me that what I hold in my hand/pocket everyday is basically a computer. It can just about do anything basic task a computer can and then some. The fact that we have internet (thanks to data) also still amazes me from time to time, especially the speed of LTE. I can definitely make it through the day with the battery now, but I know battery technology is getting better just not implemented into our phones yet, for whatever reason.

I really think this whole "who can make the biggest screen" is getting out of hand.

I love how we can stay connected and have access to others pretty much 24/7.

I hate how we can stay connected and have access to others pretty much 24/7.

Pros. Miniature device that basically turned my desktop into a novelty that's needed only every so often now and even that can be done remotely with Splashtop.
Cons . Battery life but that's to be expected. That much power needed to be fed by technology that is way behind the demands of the 21st century.

:D

Ain't that the truth

I love how its basically a handheld computer in our hands and how it constantly evolves. Its almost as good as an actual computer, not yet but it'll eventually get there.

I hate having a crappy battery life, and having to be certain on what phone and when to buy it.
