what am i doing wrong? (raging thunder)

I play the game I'm in championship and I'm driving and in first then halfway in every car passess me and gets so far ahead I can't win and get 4th thid happens everytime what am I doing wrong?

don't hit the skulls, get the lightning and then use your boost. also, tuck in behind a car for a "bump" boost. i'm assuming you have acceleration on auto?

lol jarhead thats frustrating I know. but like brochaos said get in behind them and press the bar on the right and you'll get a speed boost. Steer into them and you will wipe them out.

Then keep hitting the lightning bolts and keep your finger on the left bar for boost. Everytime you hit a skull though it will slow you down and take away boost.
